'Paper Moon'
A collection born from my love of science fiction from the 1950s. Drawing inspiration from the Soviet Union Space Program matchbox art of 1959, I have been working on a collection of layered silver, copper and brass dioramas featuring the iconic forced perspective often found in classic Space Travel film posters. This series is my love letter to humanity's imaginative obsession with space and our desire to reach up into the unknown. Whilst still a work in progress due to the current lockdown, 'Paper Moon' will be my first point of call for physical development once I have workshop access. |
